“I learned a long time ago, the wisest thing I can do is be on my own side.” -Maya Angelou

Welcome! I am so excited you are here. Since you have landed on this page, I am going to guess that you are someone who seeks growth, healing and expansion. You may have gone through challenges in life that clouded your ability to see your boundless worth or never-ending potential. You play smaller than you are capable. You let fear and judgment block you from stepping into your power. And yet, you know that you belong on this journey of embodying your magnificence. And you’re here for it. All of it!

Well, I am here for it with you!

I have been on a long road of self-discovery and healing. I too have played small. I’ve allowed the stories of “not good enough” interrupt my life. I’ve lived under the weights of fear, doubt, and confusion regarding my place in this world.

But day by day, year by year, I discovered my value in this world. I learned to mend the wounds from trauma. I learned to provide love and compassion to the parts of me that experienced the “not good enough” story. I learned to tap into my power and thus create the life I always wanted.

And now I am unapologetically myself. I live each day in alignment with my truth: That I too am magnificent. And I love my life.

Professional Journey

I have always been a helper of sorts. At the age of 12, I knew I wanted to be of service to people. I followed my calling and received my Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University with a major in Human and Organizational Development. I began my career in the social services field during undergrad. I continued in the field for several years and then returned to school to earn my Master of Science in Counseling degree. I obtained a Marriage and Family Therapist license in 2012.

I spent nine of those years simultaneously working in organizational leadership as a supervisor of case managers and therapists. I have a deep passion for implementing successful leadership strategies and developing employees and interns to expand their skills. I continue to develop interns as a Board Approved LMFT Supervisor. I also provide mentorship for MFT students through the AAMFT Minority Fellowship Program.

In recent years, I expanded my services into life transformation coaching to serve in a different capacity. I am Institute for Coaching Mastery trained (International Coaching Federation Accredited) and in process of certification. I chose this program for its integrity to the coaching industry as a separate entity from psychotherapy.

I have helped over 1500 people and spent over 20,000 hours directly serving beautiful humans throughout the duration of my career thus far. I plan to continue this journey for many years to come.
